Well-capitalised financial advice startup seeks extremely talented full-stack developers to help pioneer AI-enabled financial advice. You must have experience designing and building large and complex (yet maintainable) systems, and you should be able to do so in about one-third the time that most competent people think possible. You should have a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent and minimum 3 years work experience. Excellent communication and product taste is essential. Familiarity with AI agents, LLM orchestration, vector databases, and RAG systems would be helpful but is not necessary.

This is a founding engineer role. You'll have equity, autonomy, and enormous responsibility. Our vision is a small, senior team that scales through intelligent automation, with a human always accountable for the advice.

The site you are on was built by our founder working hands-on with AI tooling. If you don't believe AI-assisted development changes what a small team can ship, or if you want a predictable 9-5, this opportunity isn't for you.

Expect talented, motivated, intense, and interesting co-workers. Must be willing to relocate to Cape Town (we will help cover moving costs).

Your compensation will be enough to live on, and include meaningful equity ownership.
